Ben Clenney

Ben was born and raised in Colquitt, GA. In 1993, Ben graduated with an associates degree from South Georgia College in Douglas. Ben graduated in 1995 from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in risk management and Insurance. After graduation, he came home to work in the family insurance business. Since joining the agency, Ben has gained valuable experience and knowledge in both personal lines and commercial lines of insurance. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf and tennis when he can and spending time with his family. Ben has also volunteered his time with several community organizations. He is the past President and past secretary of the Colquitt Lions Club, past Treasurer and board member of the Colquitt Miller Arts Council, past board member of Colquitt Miller County Recreation Board, and past President of the Colquitt Miller County Chamber of Commerce. In 2014, Ben served one year on the Professional Insurance Agents of Georgia as a board member. In 2015, Ben received his CPIA designation (Certified Professional Insurance Agent) and in 2016, he received his CLTC designation (Certified in Long Term Care). Ben purchased the agency in February of 2017 from his father, Lavon Clenney. Lavon Clenney started the business in February of 1974. Ben currently serves First Baptist Church in Colquitt as a deacon. Ben looks forward to assisting you with all of your insurance needs.

Brian Henry

Brian started his career in the insurance industry in 2008 as an agent until 2012 when he became a claims adjuster. After spending 7 years in property claims, he became agency manager for the Baker County Georgia Farm Bureau insurance agency. Brian brought is knowledge of property & casualty, life, and claims to the Clenney Agency in March of 2021. Brian specializes in farm, commercial, and life insurance. He looks forward to helping you prepare for what risks life may bring your way.

Melissa "Miller" Swope

Born and raised in Bainbridge, Georgia, Melissa joined the US Army in 2001 and spent her time as a Military Police officer. She moved back home after her tour was over and started her career in the finance industry. She started with The Clenney Agency in 2013 in our Bainbridge office. She brought with her more than 10 years in the customer service industry. She is licensed in Property and Casualty and Life Insurance. She specializes in Commercial Insurance helping clients protect their business needs.

Arien Marshburn

Arien joined the Clenney Agency in January of 2016 and received her Property and Casualty license in October of that same year. Her previous experience, in retail management, has taught her excellent customer service skills and enabled her to understand the needs of her customers. Currently she specializes in writing personal lines while working as an agent in the Bainbridge office. She will be happy to assist with you with all your questions from billing to policy coverage!

Stacy White

Stacy began her insurance career in 2004 and has been with The Clenney Agency over 10 years. She is a wife, mom, grandma, and great grandma. Stacy understand the values and importance of family and friends. She brings that principal and applies it to her work everyday. Stacy understands that you work hard for what you have so she makes sure that she has equipped your policy to meet your specific needs. She looks forward to helping you with all your insurance needs.

Bethany Kirkland

Bethany is currently a customer service representative at The Clenney Agency and has been a part of our team since April of 2018. She is a valuable connection between our customers and policy providers and prides herself in assisting with customer’s inquiries, resolving any service issues, documentation, and takes part in finalizing policy changes.

Sherrie Mott

Sherrie joined The Clenney Agency in 2021 as a customer service representative. She makes it a priority that the first smiling face that customers see when they walk in is hers. Sherrie is happy to assist with questions, making payments, taking quote requests, or whatever it takes to make sure customer needs are met before they leave. Sherrie welcomes everyone to come in to see how we can help them prepare for life's surprises.

Kaisey Baker

Kaisey started with the agency in May of 2014. Since then, she has obtained her licenses in Property and Casualty and Life insurance. After working with the agency for 8 years, she has developed a considerable amount of knowledge of the insurance business. She is happy to assist her customers in finding the best options for their insurance needs!

Aaron Harrell

Raised just north of Colquitt in Arlington, GA, Aaron brings small-town values and big-time expertise to our team. He joined us in 2023 after two years with State Farm in Thomasville and previously served as Branch Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where his location earned multiple awards for elite customer service. Aaron holds a BS in Business and Economic Development from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and is fully licensed in Property & Casualty as well as Life and Health.
